Feature overview

Metadata are structured labels attached to teams. This new capability lets you:

  1. Define once in the template’s Custom Form.

  2. Assign or change across hundreds of existing teams with Bulk.

  3. Auto‑sync values directly from 3rd Party Apps such as Salesforce (and soon any nFlow connector).

Where metadata shine – three practical scenarios (revised)

Scenario

Typical user question

How to model the metadata

Project Delivery

“Show me all Execution projects with a Large Budget.”

Budget Band (Small < 250 k, Medium 250 k–1 M, Large > 1 M) – captured once via Custom Form.
Project Stage (Idea, Planning, Execution, Closure)updated later by PMO through Bulk or Power Automate.

Sales Deal Room

“Which EMEA Large Deals are at Proposal stage?”

Deal Size (Small Deal, Large Deal) – captured via Custom Form.
Opportunity Stage (Qualification, Proposal, Negotiation, Closed‑Won, Closed‑Lost) – updated automatically from Salesforce Pipeline ↔ nFlow.

Crisis Management Hub

“List P1 incidents for the Manufacturing unit.”

Severity (P1, P2, P3) & Business Unit (Manufacturing, Retail, Corporate …) – both set in Custom Form for the initial incident report.

A. Defining metadata in a template

  1. Add a Custom Form with field called Lifecycle (values: Pre‑Bid, Delivery, Support).

  2. Tick Show on team card – every created team will display the pill automatically.

  3. Reference the same field in the naming convention if helpful.

B. Assigning metadata in Bulk

  1. Navigate to Bulk → Teams.

  2. Filter, Search, or paste a CSV of team IDs.

  3. Actions → Assign metadata → pick Lifecycle = Delivery. Custom form and metadata

  4. Confirm – nBold writes the label to every selected team in under a second.

Where do metadata appear?

  • Team cards – coloured pills show at a glance.

  • Filter bar – the most frequent values float to the top.

  • Bulk – In bulk filter on any metadata to retrieve the corresponding teams.

  • API – advanced users can query nbold Metadata for advanced scenarios.
