1. Go to nFlow Settings → Service Account

From the left navigation menu in nFlow:

  1. Click Settings

This page shows:

  • Current service account (if any)

  • UPN

  • Last updated time

  • Renewal status

  • Buttons: Update Service Account, Update permissions, Remove

2. Click “Update Service Account”

Press the Update Service Account button to start the connection.

You will be redirected to the Microsoft sign-in page.

3. Sign in with the user you want to act as the Service Account

A standard Microsoft login screen will appear.
Here, simply enter the email address of the Microsoft 365 user you want to use as the service account.

Important:
This user must have a valid Microsoft 365 license and access to Teams/SharePoint.
This user does not need to be an admin.

4. After signing in, nFlow updates the Service Account

If authentication is successful, the Service Account section in nFlow will refresh and display:

  • The user’s photo

  • UPN

  • Status “Renewal Successful”

  • All permissions the user has inherited automatically

nFlow will now use this user to:

  • Auto-create Teams

  • Auto-create Channels

  • Add apps or tabs

  • Execute lifecycle steps from workflows

No additional configuration is required.
